Learn about specific vowel and consonant sounds, different dialects, greetings and common phrases. Audio files allow you to actually listen to the correct pronunciations. The Ethnologue "tries to bring together the best information on the languages of the world." It includes 228 country files in 5 geographic areas, including comprehensive listings of African languages. It also includes "endangered" languages, such as pidgen, creole, gypsy and other special interest languages.
